Highlight Features

  • DOUBLE-LAYERED PROTECTION — Upgrading CU-SP1 to IP66

While the iPAD CU-SP1 (AED / Defibrillator) is IP55 rated, pairing it with the CoreTrek case raises its environmental protection to IP66 level. The case’s dual-locking system forms a superior seal that shields against water, dust, and debris — allowing iPAD CU-SP1 to operate confidently in tougher environments than ever before.

  • IMPACT RESISTANT — Reinforcing CU-SP1’s Durability

The iPAD CU-SP1 (AED / Defibrillator) meets the industry-standard 1.2m drop resistance. CoreTrek pushes this further, drop-tested independently at 1.7m and supported by internal shock-absorbing foam, forming a three-layer protection system. Together, they safeguard the CU-SP1 against accidental impacts and field use — beyond the norm.

  • RAPID EMERGENCY ACCESS — Built Around CU-SP1's Needs

In an emergency, time matters. The CoreTrek design allows for immediate access to the electrode pads without removing the iPAD CU-SP1 (AED / Defibrillator).

CU-SP1’s simple interface and fast boot time are now paired with zero-delay pads access, minimizing response time when every second counts.

  • STATUS AT A GLANCE — No More Guesswork

The clear front panel of CoreTrek allows responders to instantly check the CU-SP1’s green status indicator and LCD display, which shows the pads status, battery level, and overall device status — all without opening the case. This design simplifies both routine inspections and emergency readiness.

  • TEMPERATURE STABILITY — Keeping CU-SP1 Ready in Any Climate

CoreTrek’s HDPE outer shell and shock-absorbing foam interior work together to insulate the CU-SP1 from sudden temperature shifts. Even when external conditions change rapidly, CoreTrek ensures a slow and steady thermal response — helping to maintain a stable internal environment for reliable device performance.

  • MODERN LOOK. PROFESSIONAL PRESENCE

With a sleek silhouette and clean, modern design, the CoreTrek makes the CU-SP1 look at home not just in field deployments, but also in offices, lobbies, clinics, and workplaces — replacing wall cabinets with style and simplicity.

Highlight Features for Marine Use

✔ Highlight Features for Marine Use

  • Certified for Marine Environments

    • The iPAD CU-SP1 AED (Automated External Defibrillator) has successfully passed environmental testing in accordance with IEC 60945 and DNV-CG-0339, two widely recognized standards used to evaluate the durability and reliability of marine electronic equipment.

    • IEC 60945

An international maritime standard defining environmental and electromagnetic requirements for electronic equipment installed on ships, including resistance to salt exposure, humidity, vibration, temperature variation, and electromagnetic interference.

    • DNV-CG-0339

A marine environmental testing guideline developed by DNV, one of the world’s leading classification societies. It evaluates whether equipment can operate reliably under real onboard conditions such as continuous vibration, shock, humidity fluctuations, salt mist exposure, and electrical disturbances.

Successfully passing these tests demonstrates that the iPAD CU-SP1 AED is engineered for reliable use at sea, where equipment must remain dependable despite challenging operating conditions such as:

       Continuous vessel vibration
       High humidity and salt exposure
✔  Rapid temperature changes between cabin and open deck
       Electromagnetic interference from onboard systems

In other words, the CU-SP1 is not simply water-resistant — it has been validated as a marine-ready AED designed for real shipboard environments.
  • ENHHANCED PROTECTION WITH CORETREK IP66 HARD CASE

While the iPAD CU-SP1 AED itself carries an IP55 rating for protection against water and dust, pairing it with the CoreTrek hard carrying case upgrades the overall protection level to IP66.

This enhanced protection effectively shields the AED from powerful water jets, salt spray, fine dust, and airborne marine debris, making it particularly suitable for demanding onboard locations such as:

    • Vessel decks
    • Engine rooms
    • Wheelhouses
    • Outdoor or exposed shipboard areas

The rugged case helps ensure that the AED remains protected, dry, and operational, even under the harsh and unpredictable conditions commonly encountered at sea.

  • DROP-TESTED FOR EXTREME IMPACT PROTECTION

While the iPAD CU-SP1 AED is designed to withstand drops from 1.2 meters, pairing it with the CoreTrek hard case significantly enhances impact protection.

The case has been independently drop-tested from heights of 2 and 2.5 meters and incorporates custom-molded shock-absorbing foam, which cushions the device from sudden impacts.

This added durability helps maintain reliable operation even during rough sea conditions, vessel movement, or emergency situations where the unit may be dropped or handled under stress.

Whether on the open deck, in transit, or during emergency response scenarios, the AED remains protected and ready for use.

  • TEMPERATURE BUFFERING IN HARSH CLIMATES

Marine environments can change rapidly — from tropical heat and humidity to cold engine rooms or winter deck conditions.

The CoreTrek case features a durable HDPE outer shell combined with an insulated inner layer, creating a thermal buffering effect that slows the rate at which internal temperature responds to external changes.

This design helps maintain greater temperature stability for the AED, improving operational reliability across a wide range of maritime climates.

  • VISUAL READINESS AT ALL TIMES

The transparent front panel allows quick visual inspection of the AED’s status indicators, including battery level and pads status, without opening the case.

This enables fast and non-intrusive equipment checks, which is particularly valuable in confined shipboard spaces or during routine safety inspections.

  • FAST PADS ACCESS — NO DELAYS

In emergency situations, responders can access the electrode pads immediately without removing the AED from the case, minimizing delays when every second matters.

This intuitive design allows even untrained crew members to respond quickly and confidently during sudden cardiac emergencies onboard.

  • MODERN, COMPACT, AND MARINE-READY

With its modern design and compact form factor, the Marine AED Package eliminates the need for bulky wall cabinets.

It integrates seamlessly onboard — whether stored in a bridge locker, crew cabin, or medical station — while maintaining a professional and safety-focused appearance.

Its lightweight and portable design also allows the AED to be easily moved anywhere on the vessel, making it suitable for both fixed placement and rapid emergency deployment.
