
CU Medical announced on the 21st that the system won the '20 Million Dollar Export Tower' on the occasion of the '59th Trade Day'. On December 15th, the '59th Trade Day' and '6th Gangwon Exporter's Day' event was held at the Sejong Hotel in Chuncheon, and around 100 award-winning companies, organizations, and groups that contributed to increasing exports in Gangwon Province, including Gangwon Province Governor Kim Jin-tae, attended.
CU Medical has been renewing its best performance every quarter by focusing on its existing main business of supplying automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) since the beginning of 2021. It is a true export company, with about 80% of its sales generated overseas, including in Europe and Japan.
A company official predicted, "This year's projected sales are also expected to surpass last year's performance early, and sales growth will continue next year through the launch of new products in overseas markets such as Europe and Japan."
Kim Hyung-soo, CEO of CU Medical, said , "Although we are recovering from the long-term COVID-19, a difficult management environment is expected next year as well due to various crises such as the Russia-Ukraine war, the global interest rate hike trend, and the shortage of major raw materials such as semiconductors." He added, "However, as we have recently experienced various sad situations at home and abroad, we have once again looked back on our company's philosophy of saving at least one more life, and we will do our best for continuous product development and stable supply so that we can win the $30 million export tower next year."
