CU Medical Conducts Company-Wide CPR and AED Training with Certified Instructors

CU Medical Systems (hereinafter "CU Medical") announced that it held a comprehensive CPR and AED training session for all employees on June 23 at its headquarters in Wonju and its Gwacheon branch office. The initiative was part of the company’s commitment to fostering a responsive work environment where employees are equipped to act swiftly and accurately in emergency situations.
The training was conducted by certified instructors from the Korean Red Cross and combined both theoretical instruction and hands-on practice. Key components of the curriculum included the proper procedure for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs), and emergency response techniques for airway obstruction.
As part of the program, all employees signed an emergency response pledge, reaffirming CU Medical’s dedication to social responsibility. The training received strong participation across departments, highlighting employees’ recognition of the importance of acquiring life-saving skills.
“This was a meaningful opportunity for our team to learn skills that could one day save someone’s life,” said CU Medical CEO Kim Hyung-soo. “We will continue to build a culture of responsibility through regular safety and emergency preparedness training.”
